Cumberland County is home to five public campgrounds that all receive annual inspections from the Cumberland County Health Department. The campground inspection program falls under the authority of the State’s Department of Health though it does incorporate many of the programs administered by the State’s Department of Environmental Protection. In New Jersey campgrounds are responsible for providing their customers with the basic essential services that are found in
N.J.A.C. 8:22 known as the campground code.
